Hear from award-winning travel writer Antonia Bolingbroke-Kent, who joins the tour to share tales of incredible journeys through remote regions. Antonia was the recipient of the Royal Geographical Society's Neville Shulman Challenge Award and will be speaking about her latest journey, a two month expedition through the Naga tribal territories of the Indo-Myanmar border. Travelling by foot, motorbike, boat and local transport, she met former head-hunters, shamans, Baptist preachers, opium farmers, hunters and Naga insurgents engaged in the ongoing struggle for independence from India and Myanmar.
