Unleash your adventurous side…

Join us for an evening of film and talks celebrating adventure from some of the most spectacular places on earth, brought to you by the team behind Kendal Mountain Festival. You’ll be guided through a curation of stories from across the globe, told by a unique collection of travellers, athletes, activists and creatives. Through culturally rich, cinematically beautiful and thought provoking films we’ll ask; what is possible in a changing world, what is beautiful, what is wild and what defines adventure?

Alongside the collection of adventure films, will be a talk from adventurer Anna Taylor. Anna is the first woman to complete a self-powered round of every route that features in ‘Classic Rock’, the iconic guidebook written by Ken Wilson. The 23-year-old from the Lake District cycled 2,400 km and climbed over 10,000 m during a journey that lasted 62 days and saw her solo most of the 83 routes. In 2020, Anna became the first woman to climb the 2,000ft (610m) sheer rock face of Mount Roraima, in Guyana, South America as part of an epic expedition led by Leo Houlding.

We'll also be inviting Blue Mind Men to the stage, a peer supported swim club promoting better mental health through cold water swimming. Founded in January 2022, the club meets every Sunday morning at Windermere for dips, chats and cake. It is an inclusive club for men of all ages and swimming abilities – all are welcome!

The evening will be hosted by Kendal Mountain Director Steve Scott, with thanks to Presenting Partner Cotswold Outdoor.
