Come and join komoot and Blaze Trails on a family walk from Kendal Mountain Festival. This is a community walk for all the family, fueling the adults with complimentary coffee!
The walk takes you on a 1.38 mile loop around historic Kendal Castle, paying a fleeting visit to Kendal's impressive Parish Church en route. It's an ideal amble for catching a breath of fresh air between talks at the festival.
If you and your family have a suitable fitness level for the route and value connecting with other outdoor lovers, Komoot invite you to join them. Whether you bring the whole family or there’s just the 2 of you, all you need to join is a pair of suitable shoes and suitable kit for the weather conditions.
The walk will be led by a qualified and experienced guide. Please remember you’re responsible for your own health and safety and that of your children. Komoot nor Blaze Trails CIC take no responsibility for any injury or damage that occurs during our community walk. *** The Blaze Trails CIC and komoot disclaimer:
Walking is an outdoor activity that comes with risks.
You are responsible for your and your baby’s safety at all times when on a Blaze Trails walk.
Although we have a trained guide on the walk they are not responsible for others’ safety. When planning walks they will, to the best of their ability, choose routes that are accessible and appropriate for walking with a pushchair or sling. However, every individual walker will need to prepare and take appropriate care while they are out walking.
Komoot and Blaze Trails accept no responsibility, and all community members take part at their own risk. Community members should consult a medical professional prior to walking with their baby to ensure it is safe for them to do so.
