More about Chaz
Chaz is an explorer, expedition leader, survival guide, and now SES Explorer of the Year 2021.
Having explored and hiked the globe for the past 17 years, Chaz now leads UK-based expeditions in mountains, rivers, and forests.
Whilst not out on his various adventures, Chaz is currently living on his remote plot of land in the North of Scotland. Living off the land in as wild and sustainable a way as can be.

We will be meeting from 09:00am at the Craghoppers stand in the Abbot Hall Basecamp, with the walk starting at 9:30am. The hike will head through the Serpentine woods, over Cunswick Scar and back over Scout Scar. This walk will take approximately two hours. Full route details can be found HERE
This is a FREE event but places are limited so make sure to book your tickets!
