Come and join Komoot and Lakes Gravel Gang for a community ride at Kendal Mountain Festival! 

If you have a suitable fitness level for the route and value connecting with other outdoor lovers, you’re invited to ride with us! All you need to join is a suitable roadworthy bike, helmet and suitable kit for the weather conditions.

MEET @ 9am at the komoot stand at the Brewery Arts Centre, Setting off promptly at 9.30! 

The ride takes in lanes, single track and gravel tracks. There is one section of more technical terrain (muddy with the occasional root and rock)- this is rideable on a gravel bike but you may choose to walk.

This is a guided ride, with three qualified guides to look after you and your group and show you the way. we will split into three separate groups on the morning of the ride.

 -Please download the route to your phone and have the means to navigate back to your car if needed

- Carry a basic repair kit - a spare tube for your bike, tyre levers and pump as the minimum (a multitool if you have one)

- Bring sufficient food, water and extra layers/waterproofs (check the weather beforehand)- this ride will be at group ride pace, so please bring lots of layers! 

- Wear whatever you feel comfy cycling in but make sure you have a helmet!

-Please ensure your bike is in safe working order. We will do a bike safety check at the start of the ride. If your bike is deemed unsafe to ride you will regrettably not be able to join us.

- Please be aware that this is a community ride, and although it will be led, all participants are responsible for their own safety. They must ensure that their equipment is suitable for the conditions. The participant accepts and assumes all risks and is fully responsible for their actions while attending the event. Kendal Mountain Festival and the associated brand partner do not accept responsibility for the actions of the participant or the consequences of such actions.
