Welcome to the adidas TERREX Running Session, celebrating the spirit of running with an incredible line-up!

Hosted by the awesome Sabrina Pace-Humphreys and Dan Duxbury

We’re so excited to welcome adidas athlete and Team GB marathon runner Steph Davis to the stage. Steph's story gives a fascinating insight into the demands and commitment involved at the top of distance running which she juggles with her busy career in finance having only taken her running seriously from the age of 27 and since competing at the Tokyo Olympics!

Aligning perfectly to the spirit of our event, we will be celebrating the launch of ‘Why We Run’ by Danielle Ledbury, spotlighting Lake District's running enthusiasts like:

- Lesley Malarkey - Lesley started racing in the fells at the age of 62, and shows no sign of stopping! A member of the historic club, Keswick AC, she’s the first V70 (man or woman) to run all of the Lakeland Classics, and this year at the age of 74 she completed the 30mile/12,000ft Cumbrian Traverse from Keswick to Broughton Mills in just over 13 hours!

- Zukie Tandathu - Zukie is an ultra runner and member of Black Trail Runners. His proudest moment is completing the Bob Graham Round last year in 24 hours and 50mins, although he didn’t finish in under 24 hours, he says he learns by trying to celebrate failure as well as success. This year he took on the Dragon’s Back Race, finishing 44th in one of the most challenging years yet - dealing with a week long heatwave.

- Katie Kaars Sijpesteijn - Katie is an ultra trail runner based in Yorkshire, and has represented Great Britain at four Trail World Championships. She says her favourite place to run is in the Lake District fells, where she has won the Lakeland 50 an impressive 4 times, won the 2022 Lakeland Trails 100 outright, has two Lakes in a Day titles to her name, won the Lakes Traverse 100km, and holds the record for all 4 races! Since becoming a mum to two year old Inge, she's been inspired by other running mums including Sharon Taylor and Jasmin Paris.

- Charlotte Lee and Marie Koehl - Charlotte and Marie are both members of Queer Runnings - the world’s first virtual run club for the LGBTQIA+ community. Charlotte is an avid trail runner, cyclist and overall lover of the outdoors. She is an active member of the Cumbrian LGBTQIA+ community and is a member of Queer Runnings. Marie (they/she), originally from Germany, was the ‘do-it-all-kid’ and tried all sorts of sports both indoors and outdoors, these days trail- and mountain running are her main focus.

Plus... we have a special feature and a new film on the Black Trail Runners team who hit the mountains in the Austrian Alps last month, competing in the tough Infinite Trails race.
